RA owners experiencing EVO X problems?

Just wondering if any RA owners are experiencing similar / same problems as Evo X owners, namely leaky oil from turbo area, gas inside crankcase?

THX

No major oil leaks here -- my driveway remains pure as the driven snow (several feet worth yesterday, we had a blizzard).

In the more likely event that you mean oil leaks that aren't dripping onto the ground, where exactly should we be looking around the turbo?

Nothing so far, but I'll keep an eye out for the oil on the turbo.

and who is telling you about these problems ? ( first hand experience only please ).

i have noticed that 75% or more of people who post up on forums about certain cars.........

do not own or speak to anyone first hand who owns the car being refered to.

now to answer the o.p.s' question.

...i do not have the problems you mention.
no one i know with an 09 RA or an evo X has the problems either.

Aside from a long start that seems to have plagued the whole Lancer lineup, I don't really have any other problems yet

so i looked around on the evox forum..... it looks like a couple of people had minor oil leaks , most likely at the timing chain cover....

i did not find anything about oil leaks from the turbo or or gas in the crankcase.

one of the guys who had the leak appears to have done some mods to his car !

when you start wrenching on your car you can always create problems for yourself.

i have not personally heard of anyone with any serious problems with an X or RA.
