New RA for 23?

I went to the stealership the other day and all their 09 RA's are priced at 26k. I'm going to roll in there with 1k cash and demand it for 23k. Think they'll drop down?? Just curious what some people purchased theirs for.

I purchased mine for $24k + tax so about high $25k. That was also about 4-5 months ago. And i also didn't own a mitsu before (loyalty rebate). Its worth a shot. Whats the worst they can do? Say no?

I actually own a 08 GTS with 15k miles. How much is the loyalty discount?

there was a dealer on ebay selling a new one for 21999 after $1500 rebate so 23k you should be able to do after destination... the loyalty is $500

I think $500 loyalty

I think you should go in there ready to purchase, and start lower... Be aggressive if you really want a car and are ready to buy... I just traded in my 09 GTS and they were desperate to sell me a car even though they were taking my car in and selling me another used car.

How does that loyalty work? Do you have to trade in a Mitz or just have one in the past. Have had 3 but don't have one now thats why im asking. And honestly I don't see them saying no to anything around 21 as long as you say while test driving your also interested in the Gen Coup since thats what there going to be going for. IMO

I would first go to a Scooby dealer and try to get an offer on paper for a WRX at around the same price, use that as some leverage.

Unless the same dealer sells both. ;P I forgot the dealership breakdown in Boise (I'm from there)

Actually yeah its mits/sub dealer.. RA and WRX are right next to each other on the lot. I test drove a silver one but I really want the white RA so I can put the black RRM hood on with black rims.

25K OTD in cali no options though...damn. Still can't complain considering what is offered in the base model RA (awd,TURBO, and evo steering wheel, bluetooth...etc) I would have love to get the HID's and recaros but well the rockford system i could do w/o as I can put together a way better system myself with components of my choice. Do wish I had the HID's though.

I honestly would rather get the base as you can get sport seats, better system, and HID's for less. Ya the seats are not Recaros but they do just as well. Not to mention can get in the colors you want. IMO. Plus if you put in a DVD player you can have it play while driving where as the one from factory makes it so you can't.

Yeah it's $500 bucks added to final price of the car. You gotta show em the car's registration is to YOUR name.

And for the PO, check www.rchillmitsubishi.com (in Orlando) they have 'em for 22 and 23k. Although I tried buying there, they denied me (freaks!). I got it for 26 down here in Miami where I got my 08' ES. See if you can get it and if you're not in FL, have it shipped for 600 bucks I believe.

Call Kayser Auto Mall in Madison WI. I got my Silver RA with the $2700 recaro/RF stereo/HID for $24,670. MSRP was $30,369. Then I am also a SAMSclub member that gave me a $500 gift card.

I did get another $400 off that price because I had the Recaros removed and the regular RA seats installed. I can't sit in those seats because of my back.

So out the door, I paid $24,260 (no tax - out of state), and I will receive my $500 shopping card in about 4 weeks.

They have other RAs on the lot as well as EVOs. They have VERY good prices.

If your not a Sams Club memeber, join up for $35 (good for a year) and then buy. Not only do you get the shopping card, but also VIP pricing.

Call Troy at 608-276-0275 and tell him Terry sent you

RC Hill is about 10-15 minutes down the road for me, that's where i bought my RA at. It's funny you say that about getting denied. I got denied through so many banks from them with a credit score in the low 700's. They're nice guys over there and the dealership itself looks like a POS, haha, but they have decent prices and i guess that's all that matters.

Yeah man, Eddie is nice as heck. The dude tried his best to help me out but in the end I had to stick with Lehman Mitsu; I got a friend there who's always helping me out only that they couldn't match RcHill's prices.

That's really interesting because that's where I started out and I had the exact opposite results. Troy jacked me around with the price and I ended up going out of state. He was only willing to go around the dealer invoice price.
