i'm going to be jealous if they put it out with wider fenders and wider rims/tires. power mods are easy. wider fenders will be tough for us current owners.

Wow, a revision after only 2 years? Kudos to mitsu for improving the car, but that kind of stinks for those who get the 2009/2010's.

Ah! Me no cares I'm already going to pass on my 09 RA to my wife (she likes her ES but is whilling to keep the RA lol) and I'm trading in our 08 ES for '10 Evo MR (or prolly a GSR) but that's in the next 6-8 months

Though that'd be really nice, so those other RA buyers who haven't got on cause of the lack of power and/or a manual tranny can get their hands on this otherwise really nice car.

Hope most of it is true

haha yeah no sense in the current RA owners to trade in for a manual RA in a few years, just go for an evo.

that rim info sounds like BS (how the hell they fitting 8.5 inch wide, unless they use the evo fenders). 5hp....lol. just get a tune, and beat down wrx's and sti's all day

It'll take more than a tune for that. Anyways, I think they could fit 8.5" wheels on, it's just a matter of offset. I believe Wheeldude has some 8.5" wheels that fit.

It's all a matter of offset to fit 8.5s. look on tire rack at rims for the lancer gts and some have 8.5s iirc. and as far as rumors go....don't believe them till you see a press release. coming from the focus world where it's always ooh they are tlaking about giving us the euro model..new model = fail for many years. rumors are that..just rumors until it comes from mitsubishi themselves.

if they do get a five speed i might have to rethink getting a genesis..i love everything about the genesis but its just kinda hard to pick RWD over AWD

like said before theres no backup or proof to that but i hope its true...and the 5hp bump is lame...give it at least 15..

sure 8.5" wide rims will fit... but 245s wont unless they completely redesign the fenders

I think they will if the offset is right. I doubt 235s are pushing the limits.
