Are the Recaro Seats available to purchase?

Anyone know if the seats that come in the Recaro package are available to be purchased? Obviously I mean outside of the Recaro package.

You can....

1. Purchase from Mitsubishi (most expensive).
2. Try Ebay.
3. Search for sellers here.

+1 on the classifieds, get a better deal, theyre just seats. Probably don't need much lumbar support on a budget ralliart anyway. 2400? you could get sparco buckets cheaper then that!

And if you buy it the oem recaros you need to do a reset the ocm on driver seat and re enter the vin number of your car then for the driver side you need to put the buckle came from your car and take apart of course the one came with the recaro.

You got a Service Requerid light but if you do what i said the light gone.

IMPORTANT: Some dealers are so idiots about changes you know may be he said in a receipt of service ***WARRANTY ON SRS VOID***, im so lucky in my dealer the technician report the problem to mitsu like a problem with my seats so i dont hace the warranty issue.

I drive an hr each way to work every day, and they are surprisingly comfortable. I was a bit surprised considering they are sport seats. (I have the leather ones, Canadian option). As comfortable as my leather in my 2004 tiburon tuscani was and I drove that 6+ hrs a few times, without any pain or cramping.

EDIT: They are a nice fit for an average size person (I'm about 5'11" 180lbs) if you were a bit on the wide side, it would be a bit snug.

im kind of confused on how they would try to void your warranty for putting in new seats. from what ive read with evo putting bride and sparco seats, the airbags will still deploy. so basically it has no real affect on the airbags..making it kind of pointless to void the warranty.

I have a fairly broad back and shoulders and could NOT get comfortable in the recaro seats. You definitely have to sit in them to see how well they work for you. I love the regular seats they are plenty comfortable!
