Hey Guys,

I got bad news! I fixed my super glue problem and painted my front emblem black, when I was painting it today I noticed what seemed to be a big scratch in the chrome ring on the nose. I took a closer look and noticed that it was cracked! do you think mitsu will warrenty this????

 

probably not its a wear and tear thing, just as if your windshield cracked from a rock they wouldnt warranty it either.

 

Aw man, tough break...I don't think they'll warrenty it either...

But hey, since its cracked...you can wrap it in black vinyl! Should look hawt on WW! (after you glue the ends back together..)

 

Can we wrap the side window chrome pieces in vinyl too?

you want to see a pic of the elmblem black?? Idk I know the GM very Well and the Service manger, its nothing that I did myself. I was trying to take it off but then I noticed this so Iwas like I will just wait until I show the dealer. Was going to paint it to but not when its in two pieces! DARN!!

I will post a pic when I get off work at 7:45 anyone, now what the part number is for this piece and how much it is? I saw a digaram of a ralliart bumper somewhere on here, where was that at?

 

if you still have a bump to bump i would give it a try.... my buddy had a crack lip and the replaced for free...

 

just painted my side chrome moldings black today. I will post pics soon.

yeah it even states in the warrenty book that anything not caused by owner can bereplaced at your local dealer.
