- The bulb should only be replaced with a new bulb with the same rating and type. The type and rating are listed on the base of the bulb.

yeah it was me as well who posted that for the 2008 lancer bulb list, but for the ralliart its a little different. because it has the option of the HIDS.
Thats why i took the time to type it up again for the 2009 ralliarts sake

yeah I was wondering about this....one day I was bored and I took out the side turn signal but I realized the bulb is enclosed in the case and it didnt seem like you could open up the case....man if that bulb ever goes out the dealer would probably charge like 15 bucks for that case

Does anyone know a site where you can purchase the WY21W bulbs in a color other than amber. Preferably Blue or white. This is for the Ralliarts Front turn signal light. didnt see any on ebay.

Has anyone tried using 7440 bulbs instead of WY21W bulbs in their front turn signals? I know the bulbs are pretty similar but I'm not sure if they will work.

FYI I went ahead and ordered 7440 bulbs and they are a perfect fit.

Has anyone ever swapped the H11 to a H9 foglight. I have read that the bulbs have a very similar base. Small sufferance that could be adjusted. To make fit. Also only pulls .5 amps more than the stock bulb but much much brighter.

noob Q, I want to replace the reverse lights with LED bulbs and the OEM bulbs are 21w 7440, the LEDs that Im looking at are 2.5w 7440. Does bulb wattage matter? thanks

for reverse function, there shouldn't be any issues. it's the turn-signals that freak out when you use led's without an additional resistor
