Factory Head Unit

First of all, i'm fully aware that there is a Stereo/Security section but no one from the 09 RA's goes there so Mods, please don't move this. Anyway, my question was if anyone here has replaced the stock head unit with an aftermarket one and maintained all the functionality of the steering wheel controls + bluetooth. If so, how does it look after in the dash. I already replaced the stock speakers with some kicker components and have them running off of a MTX amp at 45 RMS, i also added a 10in pioneer subwoofer with a Boss amp running at 800RMS. Thing is with the stock head unit i had to run a hi-lo converter and the fading and such is not working which is annoying. Also there is some noise even when nothing is playing, could that be a grounding issue? (that second question probably is better served in the other section i admit)

If there is noise, did you run the RCA ables with the POWER wire? If so, that is your problem. Run them at opposite sides of the vehicle.

And with factory bluetooth there is no way to convert your factory bluetooth to an aftermarket deck. As for the steering wheel controls, there are a few modules made from PAC that work pretty well. Just do a google search for PAc steering wheel interface

i actually didn't do the install, too afraid i'd break something but i was more than happy to install all the stuff from my old car into my girlfriend's car lol. But anyway, that is a really good point, i'm assuming the install guy isn't dumb enough to put the signal and the power next to eachother but you never know.
