09 ralliart vs 09 wrx
If you go buy looks, the RA wins hands down. If you go by specs the 09 WRX is better.
You should drive both and choose for yourself, a Mitsu RA forum will be bias towards thier own car more often then not.

how about the "awd system"? which one do you think is better?
i know this is a mitsu's forum and i like my WW RA very much, but this thread is just for everybody who wants to share their thoughts and give others some knowledge...

Yes...it does,
.
I chose the RA because it just suited my current life better. The convenience of the SST was a plus, although I still do miss my old 6spd occasionally. A big factor in the my final decision was that my girl cannot, and will not, drive a manual tranny. She's too damn stubborn,
. For now my RA is my DD, and I love it as my DD...The SST does more than fine around town.

I like the styling and looks of the new Ralliart better and have two good friends with a new WRX and new Ralliart. Performance wise the WRX is reasonably faster than the Ralliart though.
Oh noes! This conversation again? There's like 700 pages in another one.
As for the AWD system? The WRX has a viscous center differential, and open differentials on the ends. The R/A center diff is something like a typical open differential - but with variable coupling allowing a computer to control the amount of lock based on all sorts of data. On the ends, it has two different types of limited slip diffs - just like the Evo 9s. I personally think the AWD on the ralliarts are better than on the WRXs - and that's also why I think the R/A is actually a bargain.
But with that said, the 09 WRX is faster - though a tuned R/A with minor bolt-ons (intake, FMIC) can easily get you in the game.

The ralli art will be a track monster 5 or less years from now for sure. Our community is going to need some decent shocks/struts with matching rebound rates and some 9 inch + tires. Not the ****ty as megan coil overs that will probably hurt performance.
