Sorry to tell you with most modern cars the rain has nothing to do with hard starting, unless it is an older car with older ignition wires use to get wet and that could cause hard starting.

I actually live in sterling heights, too! I *still* have yet to see an R/A in person... Anywhere (besides dealers).

could be that your mass airflow sensor is wet.

It just happened to me yesterday. 90% humidity 92 degrees.
Maybe it is the humidity. It was disgusting yesterday.

Dude. I was going to buy your RA. I looked at it RIGHT before you bought it. I came in a week later, and they said it was already sold! So I just bought the Rally Red one. That's toooo funny. Small world!

There is a car meet every Sunday evening at 18mile and Ryan in a Murray's Parking lot. I was there for this past one, and it was pretty tight. There are always a bunch of STI's and WRX's, but only one or NO Evo's and Lancers!

It could as well be the humidity...I really can't think of anything else minus a bad bunch of ignition modules from the factory that got missed in QC.

Ha...that's less than 2 miles away from my parents house. I drop my old dirty oil off there every time I change my oil. I never noticed any meets there, but I never really looked for them. I'm usually in the 16/Ryan area on Sundays - I'll keep an eye out next Sunday when I'm passing by.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread, btw. I just think it would be sweet to meet you guys, though. No one at these car meets know what the RA is. It's such a great discussion starter. Last time I went to the Sterling Heights meet, a bunch of people crowded over my car, looking hard at it and checking out the engine. I got a lot of compliments, even from the STI owners.

Oh, I almost forgot. I may not be at this Sunday's meet. I'm taking the RA to an autocross event in Midland. I hope everything goes well with it, as far as overheating issues X.X
