AMS Lancer Ralliart Widemouth Cast Downpipe test!

Hi Guys!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately! We actually did this test some time ago but I have not had the time to get it up on the net for you guys!

As most of you may know, our Ralliart has an FP Red on it with all the AMS supporting goodies... All except for one.

We swapped out the stock 02housing and downpipe piece for our Cast Widemouth downpipe and tossed it back on the dyno.

As you can see, the results are very promising and we are ecstatic at the gains we made with this piece. For reference the car currently has installed:

AMS UICP
AMS FMIC
AMS Down pipe back exhaust
AMS Intake
AMS Boost Pill
AMS Small Battery Kit
AMS Widemouth Downpipe
AMS Prototype SST transmission cooler kit
AMS Custom Tune using ECUTeK
FP Red Turbo
DW 1000cc injectors

The 1000's are definitely too big, but we have an injector circus going on over here at the shop and that is all we had available at this time

Yes, the only change in this car is the downpipe!

I think 800's are the smallest they make at DW.

Most likely not. I would imagine that the stock turbo would run out of steam before the O2 housing would become a real restriction.

Hehe, hum... just wondering... what's the diameter on the WM-Downpipe?

Also, this pipe fits only Evo X turbo or Evo X Aftermarket Turbo setups right? (I think I read that somewhere around this thread i just cant find it... maybe it was all a dream )

edit: nevermind, it's two posts above lol...

This is what they have posted on their site:
"3” diameter at its smallest point"
I noticed ur sig so I did the conversion for u. (which is = to 76.2mm at its smallest point) here is the link.
