No its only suppose to affect about 7000 cars in the US. Only 7000 cars will have the replacement done. I'm upgrading fuel rails, so brackets dont mean **** to me =P

Dropped it off earlier at a new Mitsu dealer. They just started car selling mitsubishi's about 2mo ago. There was about 5 of 6 of them looking over my car. The recall is active in there system. They asked me about my mods and told me they were mod friendly. WE will have to see how it goes since it the first mitsu they will be working on.

recall documentation hit the dealerships yesterday. there's also a reflash for the awc controller in cold weather conditions. make sure if you're tuned, you ask them not to do that one if you dont want to have to get re-tuned again.

The recall is true. Recall number C0904W. My co-car needs it. By the way MMSC people do watch these forums, although I'm not in the Warranty Dept.

I called the service dept, and gave them my VIN to do a search on all outstanding recalls. The fuel rail recall showed up and I just scheduled the appt. Quick n' easy.
