go ahead and get it done. its not officially a recall, just a bulletin for if the service awc light comes on actually, but its easier to just get it done while you're in there and prevent the condition instead of waiting for something to go wrong and then having to go back in again.

you can have it done as it specifically doesnt touch the ecu or tcu programming, it will not directly affect your flash. also if you had the stock maps modified instead of installing a completely new set of programming, which is what most tuners are doing, they will likely not even notice its done since they arent likely going to go randomly checking parameters for something not involved in what they are doing. just make sure you tell them thats the only thing you want done to the computer specifically. not trying to help you sneak by warranty, only help you save money on having to get a re-tune if they do decide to be nosey... probably not even a concern tho

its the same dlc underneath the dash used for ecu and everything else

Alright, I got my AWC re-flashed and my Fuel Return Pipe fixed. Got it done at Ann Arbor Mitsu. I gotta say, I felt like I was treated like royalty! What great people.

They didn't mention it to me either, but when i peeked at the paperwork I saw it. They probably did it anyways.

I wouldn't mind a flash to eliminate the occasional "herky-jerky" normal-mode driving in traffic. I've changed to manual now during slow / stop-go traffic to avoid the TC-SST rushing to upshift when I know I'll need to slow down in the near future.

I called two local dealerships in my area and asked for the AWC reflash and gave the SC-09-002 service campaign code, but both dealers did not know what it was and that it did not exist.

Has anyone on the west coast got this re-flash done?
