I have the same thing with the drivers side window - it rattles sometimes - i even resort to opening the door and slamming it again - or opening and closing the window.
Are they aware that their windows rattle like sh*t and whats their attitude to fixing it?
Also is there a service bulletin on the windows?

I printed off the net the service bulletin for the AWC + the recall notice - so if i gave cud give em the window one as well it wud reduce the possiblity of them screwing it up

Thank you. I don't understand why they don't put the high torque nuts on in the factory ffs. Car is new and it does this.

The window thing they told me, is only on an as need basis. So they can't redo all 4 of your windows, only the one that's having problems. In my case, this was the drivers side window. There is a tsb out for it.

As for the AWC, the easiest thing to do is to just say you went upstate one day when it was really cold and when starting cold, the AWC light turned on and you restarted the car and it went away. I don't know why some dealers can't just update it w/o the run-around cause they get paid for it regardless.

About $70-80 with new filter + tax.

If you do it at home, probably average around 25-30 for the oil, another 10 for the filter. Prolly about half the cost of a dealer change.

My oil change cost me $95 at the dealership. They apparently charge 1/2 hour labor charge on top of the synthetic oil change price. WTF. I did my next oil change myself. Cost $42 for 5 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic 5W-30, and a FRAM oil filter, and about 30 minutes. DONE. So happy I can do my own oil changes now.

FYI you can knock off another $20 of that cost if you pick up your oil from Walmart...I got a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 for $22 last time I did my oil.

The OEM oil filter is better, it's only 5 bucks.

Don't plan on buying any 5 quart jugs of 5w-30 from any walmarts in the metro detroit area. I've been looking for a jug for around 5 months now, they're ALWAYS sold out.

I hear Costco and Sam's Club has them cheap, too. That's where I'm going next time. Sometimes places like Autozone will have a sale on them, too.

Max Madsen Mitsubishi is on it! Even though my car was very slightly used, they still called me today and informed me that my car has a recall on the hood release, fuel pipe issue, and AWC reflash.

Now I just gotta load the stock map back in it and drop it off!

Ah wow, that's pretty sweet. I wish my dealer got around to calling me about known recalls/issues!
