Yeah, thanks for the document! I just printed out the first page and will take it with me to the dealer today (I scheduled the fuel line recall). Should make things a lot easier to have them get the second thing fixed.

I know when I went to AA Mitsu, the guy knew what I was talking about and willing to do the AWC reflash. BUT he was mentioning he needs to add in why he is reflashing the AWC for service in his report. For instance, if the AWC service light came on, that would be a great reason to get this reflash. So, he just made something up just so the mechanics can work on it. If you take it into AA, I know they'll help you out. They might even wash your car for you, too. They offered to wash mine, but I told them not to, it's raining all week anyway. It was really weird too, because the mechanic working on my car, called my car an Evo. I just told him it's just the Ralliart. He said he still calls them Evo's, even though they are just baby ones. I LOL'd.

This is true, I just told them that the AWC light came on a couple times last winter, and had some very hard starting issues.

They'll take care of you in any case , last time I was there for the hood latch they had 3 guys squeegeeing my car dry after the wash, and they wanted to know where I got my RA license plate frame from - they wanted to offer some for sale at the parts dept.

Also, one of the service advisors at A2 Mitsu (during hood latch recall a couple months ago) asked if my RA had a V6 in it. I tried my best not to lol in his face. I think he thought it was a galant?

Took mine in this morning, for the fuel recall, window rattle, and awc.

The window rattle, he was like, they might have to charge you a diagnose fee if they don't find anything wrong with it. I was gonna be like, wtf, a) there IS something wrong with it and b) theres even a TSB about it. But WE, im gonna go back later and see what they say with the TSB in hand.

When I was there, there was another guy next to me in for the recall and his service guy said they might be out of parts, i was like, whaa?

I showed them the TSB paper and didn't have any problems getting the flash or AWC TSB done. Although it took them....... 3 hours. Half of which I think I was just waiting around for them to finish lunch. haha

I did have the AWC flip out on my once last winter, so I hope this will fix things.

I got the fuel line and AWC fix today and I must say there is a noticable difference in the way the transmission engages from a standstill ( like at a light) no herky jerky like before. Finally the transmission works like it was intended on my car!

If it helps make the car more comfy why doesn't Mitsu offer it everywhere....This really grinds my gears. I'm gonna have to write a letter to these bastards.

^my stealership tried to charge me 200$ plus like somekind of tax fee for the 1st service maintenance.

but the funny thing was i came in the other day for all my recalls and 1st free oil change, and they tried to charge me for the matience.
i was like wtf, i aint paying for that crap and went apesh*t on em cause i just wanted the free oilchange and to get all the recalls done but they messed up or some bull like that.
so in the end i got a free 1st service maintenance

Well I got my car back yesterday, fuel line recall, fixed drivers side window rattle, plus AWC.

Car does feel a bit smoother in both automatic and manual below 10mph, don't notice anything above that. Seems like it doesn't engine brake as well in stop and go traffic though.

I think the comfort thing was a side effect...

About $70-80 with new filter + tax.

If you do it at home, probably average around 25-30 for the oil, another 10 for the filter. Prolly about half the cost of a dealer change.

Hey it's hard times people gotta spend money, sometimes they wanna charge people and see where it goes.

I got my Fuel Pipe Recall done at the end of September I'm sure I was the first because they told me at the time I called that they haven't even sent out the notifications. Thanks to this forum I was probably the first in for it.

I just called my local dealership about the AWC reflash. They had no idea what I was talking about, then said for me to call back next week because if they don't have it in their 'system' then it would do me any good to come in for the work.
I even gave him the "SC-09-002" and that didn't gain anything. I guess I have to drive in there with the paperwork.
