Isee, does it effect the ecu in way, hence messing with my tune?
I heard it was just to tweak the gravel tarmac snow settings?

any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

its only for states that experience cold weather conditions, so you are basically exempt in texas. and for anyone calling and asking the dealer, the doesnt show up on the vin printout (they call it a super-screen sometimes) you just have to make sure you mention it, some sort of glitch or whatever. either way, it should be able to be pulled up by your service dept. as: sc-09-002. service campaign for reprogramming of awd-ecu.

and i mentioned earlier that if you are tuned, be weary of this. it doesnt actually touch the engine or trans computer programming in any way, but if the technician decides to do a complete check on software levels in the car, they will see that it is not at the level mitsu says it should be and may reflash the car back to stock. just make sure you tell them you want the acd reprogram done and make sure not to change any other settings or parameters or other software updates while they're in there

I just got my fuel rail replaced today...+AWC Reflash took around 1.5 hours...I think I was the first one they did here

I had to give them the AWC Reflash TSB # for them to look it up. It's not an official nation-wide recall so it won't show up in their recall search...it's a service campaign in the cold weather states.

Give them the TSB # and they should be able to look it up.

for those of you who's dealer doesnt show anything about the awc reflash, tell them to look up:

SC-09-002

and they will find it. its a campaign that is supposed to be only for if the service acd light comes on in the center display, but you can have it done at any time before you actually encounter a problem and its still free, just takes about 20 min.

.... Your favorite MR driver here . BTW you know MR doesn't stand for Mitsubishi Racing right? It stands for mental retard.

Anyways, I had my recall done today. They also do the AWC reflash TSB. I didn't even know about it. Took about 30 minutes. I did go back to stock just so they didn't know I was doing anything crazy. So now that all the serious stuff is out of the way... time for some fun
