Just got the fuel return pipe fixed/brake booster. dealer said that the awc reflash does not apply to my vehicle? They said only if a problem occurs then they can do something about it?

That's BS, they get paid for the time spent anyway.

Print out the service bulletin and bring it in to em.

Or just tell em it was really cold one day and the awc light came on briefly.

I got my AWC done today along with another reflash for something else. I don't know what it was for sure, but I have attached a copy of my service receipt.

So I just got back from the dealership where I bought my car. I got the recall done, they didnt reflash the awc though. But anywho I was a bit dissappointment on my visit there. I got there around 12pm and did not leave till 2pm. I was talking to this guy that was getting the recall job done too. He said it has only been 30 mins and they were done with his car. so after 45 mins after i handed my keys I look out side and my car is out there but no one has told me its done so I figured maybe they are doing paperwork for it. 20 mins passes by and the service guy who I made first contact with says " just a bit longer boss". So I stand around outside for about 45 mins looking at my car as the workers all pass by me and he finally calls me to his booth and says "hey whats ur last name" and he didnt even know that the car right infront was mine. I give him my name and he cant find it. he asks the other guy and this guy runs into the shop and finds the paperwork. Says "oh someone forgot to give me the paperwork" so pretty much they forgot about me. Then he tells me to go inside talk to the cashies so i can get my copies. I go up to her and she tells me that "they" never printed out my copies and that took about another 10-15 mins. I mean dang when I was buying a car from them they were on top of it, today it was just bad, none of the guys that worked inthere said hi good morning or have u been helped or anything. I guess now they just think im just some stupid kid that is wasting their time for a recall service. Sorry I just had to vent . But at least I dont have to go back there till my next oil change
I didnt mention the dealership name cause I dont wanna discredit them. But dang if your reading this mr dealership man. I was the guy in the wicked white ralliart with the RRMlicensce plate. Im sure u remember

If they're giving you problems for it...call another dealer. Ann Arbor Mitsu did mine, but they did ask why I wanted the AWC reflash though. I just explained the car has some issues in extreme cold (truth), and would like it taken care of that day. Also show'd them the service bulletin that dealers get.

This link will lead you straight to the documents...print it out and smack them with it.

Has anybody else noticed an improvement with the transmission after the AWC flash?

I can't say, it feels a little peppier maybe. But I think that's just me tricking myself that there is a difference. I can't say that there's a noticeable difference though.

Thanks DetroitRA. I called AA and it kept disconnecting my calls to the service so i guess I'll have to try again today. Arnold auto has given me nothing but problems but i still got to drive out there because they have my spare key. They somehow ordered just the fob but not the key???
