You might as well keep the stock system. You could probably modify the stock muffler and achieve the same results (I'm not advocating doing that).

it can definitely be done. just make sure you have a very good, reputable, shop doing your tuning. around here, strictly modified has a shop evo, 8 or 9 i dont remember, but it's got a straight pipe running directly off the turbo and out the front bumper for as little restriction as possible. granted it's a fully built motor and illegal as hell on the streets. the car looks, sounds, and moves like nothing i've ever seen before

Some things to be aware of with the HKS legamax, the exhaust flange goes down to 2.25" where it connects to the mid-pipe. This is a restriction, ideally you want 3" all the way through. There are a ton of Evo X owners that bought them and quickly got rid of them after finding this out.

You said that you want a sleeper...well an aftermarket exhaust (no matter how quiet it is does not look like a sleeper from behind).

Good Luck
Not true, IMO all of the "oval" shaped tips look stock to me. All of the rounded tips look more.. meaner? lol

Perfect example right here, idk how it will sound but as for looks.. looks stockish to me.

Yep throw on the silencer and stock cat back on, but why even get exhaust if you do get a silencer.

I would throw back on the stock cat. It was real mellow with just the cat back exhaust and stock cat.

If you want stealth then just go stock exhaust and mod everything else. You will go just as fast without the noise. What's an exhaust really get you? Maybe 10whp and 1mph more trap speed?

That can be a pretty il legitimate claim, only 10 whp.... maybe on a untuned non modified car...

trust me, as you keep modin the car, the gains with a tbe system will be much more than 10whp.

go do a full build on your car or a full bolt on car and leave the exhaust system stock, then swap it with a good tbe, and you will certainly see much more than 10whp.

I don't know what exhausts are available for the Ralliart... But HKS Legamax is a relatively low dB reading exhaust. I'd go through the ultimate exhaust thread in the Evo X forums. See if you can find a brand you like and see if it's available for your Ralliart. GL

Congrats! Now the question is did you still see good power gains from it?
