RA sleeper

Hey everyone,

OK so there is alot or great mods and parts out there...

now i am looking to build a Sleeper RA... fast and quiet... now the problem is all 3" turboback are LOUD as monkeys when they see bananas.... i am trying to figure out is there a stealth catback option for the RA or a Super quiet high flow catback out there?? and if now anyone know how to make one??

i have a AMS catback with a tp and o2 housing

its loud very loud... for example at idle is around 95 to 97 db at start after the pipes warm up drops to about 92 to 94 db... and dont ask about driving its a jet driving by lol

i dont want to chop up my beautiful ams catback but i want a sleeper

please drop answers questions or anything you have to say about this project

evil

ps i think there is a thread about quite mods or something... this focus is about "quiet" high flow performance exhaust

Get rid of the test pipe. That will help.

+1 for the test pipe and get a resonator. As sofly said the SE from Greddy should be quite enuff for your sleeper needs.

Uhhhhghgghghhgg....sorry, but I have to correct everyone...it's "Quiet", not "Quite"

But yeah, mini-mufflers like IdriveRA said. That's probably the quietest thing next to the stock cat.

Lol I have done testing with the stock cat on it's still pretty loud....

Does anyone have a ur with 3 mini mufflers? Or you mean their catback with a extra mini muffler option? And got a sound clip?

So I am about to chop up my AMS catback and add 2 18" resonator to the mid pipe and get a ams mini muffler tp.... What you guys think of that?

Yeah that would be pretty sick. Should put a Gts front and rear bumper on it.

How much power are you hoping to put down? AMS got 300/300 on the stock exhaust....can't think of anything more stealth than that!

You could do an electric cutout. I had one that dumped right after the down pipe and had my stock catback. You can come up to folks real quiet and open up the cutout and fly away. Lets your turbo spool up significantly better too and it was sick to have on an auto x. I got rid of mine because it's a pain to keep cleaning the thing every week.
