Reverse wire

Reverse wire

Can some tell me the colour of the reverse wire is in the wiring loom in the back of a sportsback..

one sure way to know the color is to pop out one of your reverse lights...

......and check the two wires.

Had removed the socket that connects to rear of lamp (black and white wire in connector) but no black and white wire in the loom that exits the hatch. Even tried using a multi meter and both wires seem to short to ground.

sorry about the mis-information.

i was able to find my outlander reverse wires the way i suggested.

i do not think they were just plain back and white.

i recall them having some colored stipes on them.

anyway , glad you figured it out.
