How do you clean the dashboard

My girl left something on the dashboard on the passenger side above the airbag and now it has this white imprint of the plastic sleeve she had paperwork in on my dashboard. What are some good cleaning products to remove that without messing up the overall matte finish of the dashboard on passengers side above the airbag?

use the armor all cleaning wipes, but clean something else first before so that its not as liquidy. Basically you have to keep going over the same parts over and over, and usually afterwards i rub my thumb over everything to even it out. it's a ***** to clean sometimes lol

I just use a warm wet chamois (no detergent) to clean my dash from scuffs or dirt marks. I try to avoid interior dressings because most of them are a little greasy. Not only that, but they attract dust/dirt like a magnet too.

As far as removing the white imprint...did the plastic sleeve melt and leave some residue behind? That may be a major ***** to get out. You can try using a warm/diluted woolite solution, 15:1, with a chamois to clean it. Good luck!

yes it look like the plastic sleeve kind of melted and left a white residue.

this. i try to avoid chemicals at all costs on the interior to keep the original finish. i'd rather have the car look like it came straight from the showroom and not the detailer. just a slightly damp chamois should do the trick with some elbow grease. the best thing about a chamois is that it comes with a touch of mineral/cod/whatever oil cured into the material and will help protect/seal the surface without leaving a gloss or wet residue

Turtle Wax Ice works great, They have an interior kit that gets states out great and works great on plastics as a protectant. Only thing you gotta watch our for is how to squeeze it out of the bottle. lol it makes a mess all the time.
