I've been having this problem lately on my '08 Outlander.
Never experienced this since I've first had the vehicle in April 2008 !!!

Guessing it is more of an issue with the type of phone (either the phone itself or the combo between the phone and our blue tooth system). What kind of phone do you have? I have an iPhone and have never had to re-pair it after the initial setup.

There was an older thread on this. I think having the dealer replace the bluetooth module solved the problem. I've had it happen too.

I had this issue on my blackberry curve, but never on my Nokia or HTC phones.
I always thought it was a Crapberry issue.

I had a few problems with my bt ony 09 gts. They ended up replacing the module cause it would always put my volume to max when I answered a call even if it was set at like 18. Anyways I also had the problem with it having to re pair all the time. I talked on the phone with the actual electrical company that made our bt about both my issues and they said that not alot of bt enabled phones actually work properly with most bt like ours. He said LG and crackberrys are the worst. So I think it is possibly just your phone not being fully compatible.

I had a BB Curve 8320 and now I have a Bold 9700, it happens to me too. I pair it and it works fine for a while. Then I have to pair it again. Pisses me off, because when you need it, it doesn't work. Great creature feature, but as people say I suspect it could be the Blackberry.

I played around with the Hands Free Device (car bluetooth) device properties on the BlackBerry. I turned off encryption and that seemed to help somewhat.

Never happened with my iPhone, except after I disconnected the battery.

Take it to the dealer, it might be a bad Bluetooth Module
