That stupid piece is expensive!, bc the chrome was peeling off of mine, and i got warranty on it, but i looked at the price, and it was like at least a couple of hundred bucks for it, I think, bc that may of included the labor

Fix it with some fiberglass. A rock hit mine and cracked it. Did a little bit of fiberglassing and painted it, looked good as new!

Well thanx for the replies I guess I'll try superglue, duct tape and a permanent marker for that extra jdm look. Man I'm starting to stress out, first I get rear ended causing $1500+ in damages then small rock chips, oil change every 1.5 months cuz I drive so much and now front end damage. Guess it's time to buy a beater

Yea I was in an accident and had mine replaced. I started with 1 piece, now I have 2 pieces. It was driving me crazy, but since I plasti dipped the ring it is harder to tell.

Gray $277.35 PN 7450A359
Chrome $ 393.72 PN oops I thought I wrote it down. If your just going to plasti dip then I would order Gray. save some $$ unless you want the option to go back chrome.

Not sure it its primer or colored to match a car or something. I used JB Weld epoxy and put it back
together and then sanded it down with 400 grit sandpaper and primered and painted flat black. I tried plastidip but it only peeled off after the first wash and that was with 4 coats. Good luck.

you must have not cleaned it or applied it well. Plasti dip works great. I have done mine twice. but only cuz i got into an accident and cracked my ring. It lasted 9mo thru winter without any problems. Then my bodyshop painted the new one black like how i had it, but it peeled in a month. so i plasti dipped it an it. And mine is now 2 piece.

Im pretty sure I did. I de-greased, cleaned and dried it and applied 4 even coats and about 24 hrs of drying time. I hand washed the next day just for it to peel off. Maybe I just have that luck or a bad can who knows. I just sanded and painted and has worked out great for me so far. I encourage anyone to try what works for you and if plastidip is the way then rock on. I did plastidip a strip in my top airvent and it has stood up wonderful and cant complain.

Good Luck
