New Ralliart Buyer
New Ralliart Buyer
Hey everyone,
I plan on joining all you Ralliart drivers within the next 3 weeks..I'm very picky with cars and basically this is what I want after looking out there. Price, looks, sedan but sporty, AWD.Its a baby Evo. Its perfect for me. and its not worth spending the same money on a used, older Audi or other things out there. Subaru's just didn't appeal for me looks wise compared to the Lancer.. I currently drive a black 2002 Acura base model with 97,000 miles Ive had for 6 years that I beat the hell out of and that thing is basically about done and sounds like its about to fall apart soon. I've had it since I was 19, Im 25 now, so It's time to move on something a lot nicer, luxurious yet sporty, with power since I like to drive hard and have fun..Plus I live in Chi-town where winters really suck, so the AWD is something I want, plus moving from 160HP and 120lbs of torque to a turbocharged AWD Ralliart with 237HP and 253 lbs of torque is going to be a huge and fun change for me.
I'm def looking for some input and opinions with price, I've never owned a Mitsubishi before and don't know what you guys got yours out the door for..I've been talking with a local Mitsibishi dealer and others for weeks trying to get the best deal. I realllllllly want a Blue Ralliart but those preowned are hard to come by, but right now the deal on the table is a 2010 Black Ralliart w/ Recaro sport package and 2K miles for right at 20K out the door with my trade in....I dont really want another black car, but for the right deal, I can be happy with it..Id appreciate anyone's input, approach or anything on price or anything else on the Ralliart I should know. Cant wait for the car! Thanks!

Its a nice car, got mine for 30g flat. I have everything except the recaro's (Didnt really like them) I love the OB, its just a looker on this car. Everywhere i go someone is asking me if i put a body kit on it or something like that. Good luck with it and enjoy, any questions about the car just ask.
When winter time hits, pick up a set of 16" DSM alloys and put some 205/60 16" General Altimax or Blizzaks on it and it will be unstoppable in the snow.
It will be nice to see another rolling around. I'm starting to steadily see more and more.

I'm in the southwest suburbs and barley ever see them around Chicago...I really could care less about the Recaro package..Is it just the seats,HID's and subs in the back that the package consist of? My current Acura is probably worth 2-4K, it's in fair condition and sucks in the snow so I will either do the trade or sell on Craigslist..Do you guys think its a good deal out the door for around 20K for the Ralliart with the trade in?
Good luck with your search/buy!
In my opinion, start here

Odds are you aren't going to find a dealer in the midwest that will go toe-to-toe with these guys, but you can use it as a leverag point. And if you can't get close enough price figure out how much it costs you to go there to get it or have it shipped. Then just weigh your options. Invoice is not the best price. You'll see that on their site.
Hope that helps.

You should be able to get a used 08 GSR for the price of what the 2010 RAs go for.. but if I were you I'd stick around till the '11s come out cause then you can get the 2010s leftover for a lot cheaper...
20k for a Ralliart otd is a good price. You may have a hard time getting that price for a new one, seems like most dealers are shooting for at least 24k. Your best bet would be to find a new 2009 thats been on the lot for a while...You have a lot more bargaining power with a car like that because its costing the dealer a good amount of money to keep that car on the lot that long, use that to your advantage. If you are stuck on getting a 2010, I would shoot for 24-26k, but you should be able to feel out the dealer while your there. Just a warning, the paint jobs on our cars seem to be pretty thin and chip somewhat easily. If your set on getting the black RA you will have more issues with those little chips showing up. White seems to be the best color for that, obviously, but again, just a warning. Good Luck!
