How much $ to get power of EVO X

How much would it cost to make the 2009 Ralliart as fast as the EVO X and be reliable?

Thanks

So are you saying might as well just get the EVO because it would cost a crap load to get what 50-60 more horsepower? Im new to the mitsubishi so I am trying to do some research before pulling the trigger.

In a straight line or around a turn? Straight line, looking for stock X power, wouldn't be horribly expensive. I believe AMS has a package that is very reasonable. But if you want to make it turn or stop like the X, its going to cost WAAAYYY more then worth it.

LOL, AMSPerformance.com has your solution. Staged upgrades done to level 3 output 365whp. Cost is $5800 - Labor. Looks like just the flash gets you X power level.

Thanks for more informative responses. I just like the straight line power. Not looking to any quick driving around a track or auto x.

I will check out that link you posted.

Okay is that a load of bull or is stage 0 really that good? Says it will get you almost 50 horsepower at the crank brining you to evo X levels? If so I'm sold on the ralliart lol.

I just wanted to make sure, sorry I'm skeptical. Like I said I'm new to this vehicle and know how newbies can get some crap haha.

I think with the money I can save on the payments it might be worth it. I will keep looking either way though.

I have a test pipe, drop in filter, Upper/lower IC pipes and an awesome P2 flash from WORKS, I can beat an evox staightline every time, but, Evo's will have your *** when it comes to braking and cornering.
So for the average street light to light guy, get a tune and a few bolt ons and away you go!!

i still don't understand this reasoning. i don't know many people who buy these cars thinking they'll keep the stock suspension/brakes/wheels for long. is it that hard to believe an RA with fmic, tbe, coilovers, brakes, wheels and tires won't perform as well as a factory X on a track?

if you consider that X MR owners have to foot $15K more for their SST equipped cars and they made the same upgrades they'd have a formidable car for sure, leagues beyond the capability of the RA. it's just that $15K could have bought you alot of other things, and not all of us want/need to road race in a class with 997's and C6's.

To address the original question: Free.
I would think with the free GST reflash, the car will be right there with a stock X. It might have a little less high rpm power, but it will have superior low end torque.
