I actually switched from State Farm because I found a better rate and policy with a smaller local insurance company.

If you're looking for most performance per dollar, then yeah, the GSR and SE models are the better bargain. However, as a lot of the RA owners have already stated the DD civilized nature of RA still comes out on top, and is the deciding factor when purchasing one for a lot of us.

I'd take a EvoX in a heart beat if one were given to me, but when putting my money into a car for DD, I'd take the RA with as many options as possible to make creeping in freeway 110 traffic past down town LA less annoying any day.

Incidentally, the touring packages have better insulated windshields to reduce wind noise at hwy speeds, a nice feature IMO. Add the leather covered heated Recaros and it really ups the DD + road trip value of the RA, IMO.

Sure, it's not as ***** out fast as any of the Evos, but you don't expect it to be when buying a RA either.

I'm not sayin yours will but be careful with local insurance companies. Some of them can be unreliable when the doo doo hits the fan. I know two ppl who gotten screwed over by different companies.

Nobody buys the RA for 33k (MSRP) for recaro/nav. Or 31k (MSRP) for recaro package.

My RA was 31k MSRP for recaro package and I bought it for $26,XXX.

You cannot compare RA to Evo by MSRP. It kinda irks me when people do this. I too agree 31 or 33k for a RA is recockulious. It's just nobody actually pays that much unless you are totally obvilous.

I was only pointing out the the difference in MSRPs. Showing the fact that is asking way to much for the RA with options. I would laugh and walk out of a dealership if the tried to sell it to me for that price.

I understand. Thankfully, I have made a couple of claims so far through this company, and I have had good luck. I made sure to read the policy front to back as well.

Sorry guys I'm bummed about it
thank god, Mitsubishi keeps making so many changes its not even funny. If they are getting back to normal product cycle stuff. then things will be much better. I mean seriously how many times have the changed the tail lights on the lancer / ralliart . like 3 times in 3 years.

One thing I wish they would do is upgrade the tires. its the one thing they havent messed with.

Are you including the Sportback taillights? Thats is the only way this could make sense.

On another note i would like to get the FUSE system. I wonder if its compatible with 09-10. It'll probably be expensive as **** though .
