2011 ralliart - is this normal????

Okay guys I got my ralliart about 2 weeks ago maybe less. Been really easy for the last 2 weeks and been driving as much as I can to break everything in. I just hit 750 miles tonight and decided to get on it a bit tonight.
Couple things Im noticing that I want to throw out there and make sure its normal. first off. seems like the transmission is really noisy. gears 1-3 seem to be very whinny. Second, sometimes between stopped at idle then to 1st seems to make a clunk noise, like I gave it a little gas before it was in gear, and thats only sometimes. And 3rd, tonight when I got home I sat in my car with the engine running for about 2 minutes to let everything cool down. When I got out of the car I heard a crackling sound. Almost like popcorn or something. crawled under the car and it was coming from the exhaust. googled that one and seems like thats just the new car exhaust cooling down.

Does that all sounds right??? need to know. If not im going to the local mitsu dealership Saturday.

EVERYTHING IS NORMAL...the manual helps a lot know the car how it behaves and it will reward you in the end..break in period is 2k miles but 3k to be safe.... You will learn a lot here in the forum... Good luck

All is normal, I love the whining of the gears in the car. I think that it sounds like the actual rally car transmissions.

Ya totally helps to read over the manual, I was driving my car pretty hard and the when I went to go turn it off the fan stayed on!! I then remembered that in the manual it stated that if the turbo was to hot the fan will stay on even after the engine has been turned off!!

My point is that chazyronnie is right, read the manual and you will find all the answers to most of the questions you may want to ask!!
