Bracketless wiper blades

Is it worth the price to get bracketless wiper blades, anyone here use these expensive blades and would recommend it.

I've used em since I had a 3000gt. The current pair has lasted 2 years/winters and are just about ready to be replaced. Maybe after this winter.

It's almost as good as buy one get one free.

I have 2 sets. Every company has em around the fall, last year it was Bosch. If you take advantage of the rebates, they're actually pretty cheap.

I find that they don't really work any better in fair but they look a lot better. They don't accumulate as much snow or ice though, which is nice. The best thing about them is that when you use the windshield washer, none of the water sticks to it. I always hated the old style blades cause the water sticks onto all the hardware and i end up getting droplets all over my windshield for miles afterwards.

Most wiper blades seem to perform great, when new. The bracketless wiper blades I've used just tend to preform great longer. I've used the Bosch ICON on several cars and loved them. They definitely lasted longer for me, looked better and didn't build up with snow or ice in the winter. The last time I needed some new blades, they didn't have the size I needed in the ICON's so I got the same bracketless design by Michelin. The Michelin worked good at first, but started streaking not long after, and I wont be purchasing them again. I may try the rain-x latitude blades next, or just go back to the tried and trusted Bosch ICON 's.

I'm using Valeo hook lock framless wipers. Awesome blades so far, waiting to test them out in the winter.

Yes, regardless of the performance of the wipers its worth the extra cash - they do not look ugly when you are driving and see them in front of you.

I used to sell blades, and the only thing I use on my Lancer is Bosch ICON's. I'd use them on my VW too, if they made them for that. It's got weird attachments though, so I use Valeo on it. First replacement set of those, so we'll see how it goes.

Valeo 600 has been rated the best overall blade. I use them and they are very good and lost a very long time. Not expensive either.
