evo or something else? HELP! Need opinions.

So bc of some financial gains I can now afford an evo x and rid of the ralliart. But I'm also considering leaving mitsu and get different cars, including a g37 coupe or a 370z or something else, like an audi.

What would you choose if you were in my situation? Would you stick with the almost same car, just upgraded, or go completely different and get a 370z/g37 etc?

Part of me always want an evo but I don't know about having the "same" car.

Thanks

well i dont think awd is that big of a deal for u since ur from texas so that leaves you with more options than i did. with a 370z or g37, its gonna be a whole new field with rwd which feels awesome as ive driven s2ks. but then you lose backseats (even with the g37) and have to go with a bigger 6 cylinder enginge. personally and this may sound biased, but you get the best of ALL worlds with the evo, you get a turbocharged engine thats semi good on gas, seats 4 comfortably and performs and handles like a champ.at the end of the day the decision is yours on whats most important to you...good luck!

And to lax, thanks for the opinion too. Going to test drive them all today so I can see what I like

i went from the 09 ralliart to the GSR Evo X. It's my first manual car and it took me awhile to get the hang of manual and I do a lot of city driving. To me it makes things more interesting and challenging. With manual you feel like there's an actual skill to driving that you need to master. To me, the ralliart and Evo feel relative in power levels (at least stock).... the biggest improvement was the handling and brakes.

I would probably look for a used Pontaic G8 GXP with a 6-speed manual. You get plenty of performance, almost zero maintenance, RWD, and a huge aftermarket for about $35,000. The only down side is that its mostly Australian, so if it needs a part thats not used by other GM products, it might take a while to get.

Well if refinement is what then the g37 is very nice, you will be sacrificing two seats and utility with the 370z, the evo x does give you the best of both worlds, four seats four doors but can still perform, plus evo x is easily modable. As for me the ralliart and the lack for refinement took awhile to get use to. But it got replaced with more fun. Oh I came from a BMW coupe. I changed to a ralli cuz I wanted to try all wheel drive, so far I'm happy most of the time.
