Spare key?

Hey guys,
Just a quick question. Did everyone get a spare FASTKey? Just bought a new 2010 RA and the dealer said it only came with the one key. The manual says I should get two.
I know this is a dumb question but I don't want to get screwed over.
Thanks

when dealerships get a new car, they get a package that has the manual, warranty manual, tire warranty manual, AND the second key. It's all packaged together.

There is no reason for there to be only one key. The dealership might have done a dealer-trade and never got a second key, but it is still your dealership's responsibility to get you that second key.

Yes, that second key comes with a little metal tag that has a 5 digit number. This number is in case you lose 1 key, and only have one left, you can use the code to get a third key cut.

I got 2. Never bought a new car that didn't come with a spare set.
Go back to the dealer and show them the page in the owners manual stating 2 keys then demand they supply you with a spare.

yeah go get your second key and then report to us the result. Tell them you are going to complain to Mitsubishi Corp. and make a big stink on the forums. They will be scared. ^_^

I bought mine used, and asked for a spare key. They told me if I spent the 41,000 for a new one I would have received a second one, but where I bought it used I get what came with the car. I told them, so I'm basically screwed if I lose this or I need to get something out of my car through the night if it's parked at a shop, or if the battery dies in this one. They tell me I can use the key inside the FOB. I told him he's full of **** because I've tried that.
