2011 Ralliart Question - USB Port?

I just test drove a 2011 Lancer Ralliart, and one thing I wanted to find specifically was the USB port. I believe it should be stock, correct? Along with the FUSE system.

I know one of you mentioned in another thread that its in the top left corner of the glove compartment, but I was not able to see it there. Is the dealer trying to trick me into believing that the 2010 was a 2011, or am I just going blind?

Does anyone have a picture of the usb port just to make sure I know where to look next time i head back to the dealer?

If I had a scanner, I would show you from the owner's manual

it's in the CEILING of the glove compartment, upper-left. Just feel around for the pop-open cap and it's there. If it has FUSE, it has a USB port

I wish it was in the center console like in the Outlander, but whatever. FUSE lets you use bluetooth audio so all my music is played wireless!

note - you can have a bluetooth connection for your phone and one for a music player connected at the same time. For example, an iPhone for phone, and an iTouch for music. FUSE is pretty cool

ahh, at the ceiling of the glove compartment... gotcha. that's probably the only spot I didn't check. The dealer doesn't seem to know any better, and tells me USB isn't in the 2011 either.

Will check that out when I go to the dealer again this weekend. Hopefully we can work out a deal so I can drive off with a ralliart

btw, do you have a digital camera? or maybe a decent phone camera? that should suffice if you don't have a scanner.

if you pm me your email I'll try to email you a pic from my iphone (I work at a Mitsu dealership )

There are a lot of people at dealerships that assume it's in the center like the Outlander.

but FUSE => has a USB port, regardless of what the potentially uninformed salesperson might tell you. The bluetooth audio is the coolest part though. Turn on the car, auto-connects to my iphone, starts music automatically from where I left it off last time I turned off the car.

and FAST key operation is slightly different for 2011 than 2010. You use the button to lock AND unlock now, rather than simply pulling on the handle like 2009/2010.

Exyia, I also noticed the Fast Key operation change for the 2011 models to require pushing the button for lock/unlocking. Is it completely eliminated for 2011 or can you change the settings for 2011 to operate without pushing the button?

Thanks
