NEED HELP!!..1st Turbo Car (Ralliart)

I just bought my 2009 Ralliart and I want to mod it. I called a tuner shop ( English Racing) and I told them i wanted 300 WHP. They told me to be safe go with 260WHP which would be allot easier and I would only need a boost pill and tune. With this I would be running low 13's is what they told me.

This is my first project car so does anybody have any information on this subject? Any info would be Great!

U have a lot of reading to do!! Should get on that before u make any decisions.

People can say 1 billion things u should or should not do. What really is needed is you doing your own research first!

Good luck and congrats the RA is a ton of fun!

well i start you off with this, you want 300 after you have 300 for a while your going to want 350, then your going to want 400. thats how it is stick with your 300 get the pill, boost controller, up your boost and get an exhaust and intake. that should be a decent climb up.

I have been doing allot of reading. The problem is, i really dont understand exactly what certain parts do. Most of the information on this subject is in mechanic terms or terms that a beginner like myself dont understand.

Another thing is I been looking all over the internet for parts. So far I have found out that Lancershop.com has allot of items. Does anybody know of competing websites?

thats quite optimistic of English to say a boost pill and tune gets 260.

If you combine a larger Intercooler, Inter cooler piping, Turbo back exhaust, an upgrade by pass valve and at least a high flow filter, then 260 is realistic.

The evo X swap isnt overly complicated, and combined with the same mods will yield 300-320 whp.

check out www.ultimate-racing.com and www.amsperformance.com for parts. Both supply exhaust, intakes, intercoolers and piping, BPV options, and so on.

Thanks westbound...I have been looking at the UR exhaust so that website helps allot. what is a by pass valve?

ER knows what their doing. Stick with the boost pill & tune. I was @ 270 whp on their dyno when I first got tuned by Lucas with the boost pill and HKS filter.

woooooo stock ralliart sits at like 205 whp and your saying boost pill and tune got you at 270whp, seems a little high, Id say listen to westbound. Ultimate Racing and AMS performance are the places to start when you are getting into performance!!!

Ultimate Racing exhausts are generally very loud though....unless that's what you want.
