First off... want to say thanks to everyone for their input in my last thread. Now comes the next part: Premium Package... yay or nay?

For $4200.00+ tax= $4746, you get the following:

- Leather Recaros
- Sunroof
- 710w Rockford system w/ 6 disc changer
- HIDs
- FAST key system

Standard Ralliarts come with GTS seats. Im on the fence for possibly spending almost an extra $5k for these things. The Ralliart alone is $33.4K before taxes. So what does everyone think? Yes to Premium Package or no? Explain why... and tell me if your rocking Recaros or not.

4000 is "ok" ..
but personally i would go for Recaro + HID only ...
not sure if they have that for 2011...
but end of 2010 they removed Recaro and HID from std equip ... and u could add like 1000 for both of them i believe...

When i bought my RA in March .. the dealership told me about these changes for 2010... and i told them if they dun come with Recaro and HID ... i wont buy it ...
to me .. Recaro and projector HID is something that is better off when it comes from factory ..
Nav u can probably get one with more function @ 1k (Pioneer Z120)

 

Umm, back in Feb of '09 I got my Ralliart with Premium Package. Definately worth it. Need the recaros. I got it for 35.5 + tax we're both Ontarians so its level grounds.

 

I love my Recaros + HID + FAST + 710w stereo.

2010 model. It's a bummer you can only get it with sunroof now which makes the package more expensive.

It was only a $2,750 MSRP package for the 2010 (minus sunroof and leather)

The recaros are some of the best seats available in almost any car currently.

 

^++RECAROS are awesome the sound system awesome HID awesome, some of my friends and co-workers refer to my 09 RA Premium Package as "FACTORY AWSOME!!"(that dont mean there isn't room for improvement, a little tune goes along way).

I have been in others with the reg seats upgraded seats and the recaros are by far the best and worth the money.

Another thing the FAST key has to be the best new gadget for cars now, I have it and got into a accident back in sept(still don't have my F*%$&# car back, 15K in damages might be a reason) and boy do I ever miss it. Its so convenient you dont realize until u have to drive a car with a regular key.

 

Are the Recaros still NOT height adjustable? That was a total deal breaker for me when considering them, because I really want to be able to control how high I sit in the car.

 

I love the Recaro's, HID, and Rockford. I only wish I would have the NAV too. That can be fixed. A sunroof would be okay but not a deal breaker.

 

33k? for that much money i would just rather have a base evo x. I can justify 5k for that package if u really want the ralliart instead of an evo because the seats, sound system, and recaro's, and hids will cost you more than that in the long run

 

i got my RA base (with Recaro and HID) for 41k (actually 670$ for 60mths)..
it came with tinted window, remote starter, 18in winters and rustproof..

now that i think of it ... i should have not getting any of them but get premium package instead...

 

Evo is more then 33k in Canada. Base model Evo starts at $42k. Base MR is $51k

 

Theres a thread on here somewhere about how to add some spacers to the recaros to add a bit of hieght to them i believe it cost the guy less than 10 bucks, you just need longer bolts and a spacer from a hardware store. In his thread he tells u the exact thread spacing and bolt size too.

 

the fact they g4y'd up the base ra now with no recaros would have forced me into the premium package for sure.

that being said, i do love my sunroof though!! you won't be disappointed and if you are, you could sell your recaro seats in a heart beat the standard lights are pretty bad, so the HID is a great option as well
