Having more trouble starting
I have a 2010 lancer ralliart, and I have been having trouble starting it as well. I spoke with Mitsubishi and they stated that in cars older than mine, they had a bad relay (according to a TSB), and he advised me the next time I have trouble starting to give it gas at the same time. By giving it gas it started right away!
So I know the Ralliart starting problem is common. I first experienced it when I first got my car a year ago....and happen several months apart. Now in the last 3 days it has done it 4 times. The first start the car wont turn over and the second attempt it turns on with a struggle. I know its common but 4 times in 3 days??? If it makes a difference its been raining all week.
this has been my issue as well but 3 months ago it wouldnt start at all and I had it towed to the dealer and they said the relays were at fault so they replaced them and 2 weeks later it wouldnt start again and I had it towed and they blamed it on the battery and key fobs well this past week anytime its sat for about 3 hours or more its not wanted to turn all the way over and its currently at the dealership and they are going to see what it does in the morning

I've had the same problems.
Recently, I've been starting my car differently and it even starts when I sounds like it doesn't want too.
So, before you guys jump in the car and start it right away, turn the key to on and wait for that 'one' last CLICK then start the car.
Kind of myth busting here but that seems to work for me. 'knock on wood

i can wait for the last click and last chime inside the car and it still wont start on the first try but after going through and reading all PCToolsWiki's post it seems as if im reading about my own car but i dont have any blue relays i have the 3 green ones
I had a starting problem last night, had to get jumped. It appears the issue is our batteries are rated for 550 cranking amps, and being forced induction needs every last bit (compression/fuel/etc). So my battery dropped to 450 and was BARELY turning over this morning (on an N/A that would be plenty of ampage). Got a new battery this morning, good as new.
Don't know if this helps any of you, but thought I'd put it out there. The OEM Panasonic is known to be crappy, especially in cold weather. We have about 2 dozens systems that draw a constant minor parasitic lose (including the FUEL PUMP!), which can be problematic in cold weather. Several thread on here and evox about this

I usually have starting trouble when I have the FAST key and my I phone in the same pocket. It also never wants to open the door that way either. I learned I have to keep them separate. I don't know your in SoCAL so the cold start reflash probably isn't needed. You could try resetting the ecu via battery cable to see if it helps any.
