Exclamation engine problem!!

I have a 2010 rallirt with about 5k miles on it. I heard a weird noise in the engine. The dealer has had the car for a month, then I find out that they put a second engine and it too had problems. So they are putting in a third engine. Would it be best to give up the car and get something else or just keep it?

i wouldn't give up the motor in our cars is one of if not the most reliable unit in the market today with faults of around 1 in 7,000,000. Its most likely the dealers fault for the second motor failure.

I would try to get extra stuff out of the dealer for your inconvience

Thats sucks man, thats the dealership fault giving you a second failed engine. I hope they provide you a rental car, if they fail again the third time file a lemon car complain for them to buy back your car and get a new one.. wrx (sarcasm)

Its more then likely the transmission grinding because its always active and they are too stupid to know it.

over monthly payments I would want them to just extend the warranty to 100,000 miles.

good luck i hope everything goes well.

I dont know how the dealerships are around you guys but the ones around KC thus far have prooved incapable of finding the real problems and fixing the car. I took my car in because i was getting no boost...they said it was a bad turbo. THey had it for a month, then gave it back with a new turbo...and no boost. I told them to check the IC piping because I saw a clamp missing and pipe not in the coupler....they said that wasnt the problem...I got it back pulled the bumper and clamped it all back together...ran like a charm...leave it to a non-professional to do the job. The Mitsu dealers really do not know what they are doing (at least around where i am) Good luck on the third engine....maybe find another dealer to fix it?
