Lesson Learned: Do not drive faster than the road conditions allow.

I am glad you are okay.

I wish people would actually go back and CAREFULLY READ the Original Poster's statement in the first post. You guys keep commenting on and on about "snow" and "ice" and "summer tires" and "road conditions", when he never said anything about any of that stuff being a factor in the accident!!! All he ever said was that the brakes failed to stop the car in time and he rear-ended the car in front of him, end of story! You guys are making up your own story of what happened here, and it's getting kind of ridiculous

Sorry for assuming your still on stock tires. I really can't see from low res pictures. I'm just going by the tire size in the photos on stock rims.

I'd say the breaks worked great as most of the damage seem to be to the top of the front of the car as it dipped low on full breaks. Unless is a realy high crv

I always cry when i see a new stone chip on my RA.. I feel ya pain..

Always remember 4wd and awd gives a lot of traction than 2wd but understanding the laws of physics stopping(braking) gives the same distance as the 2wd... Sorry bro for your RA i feel your pain, a car can always be replace but a life can't...Im glad your ok..

Sorry to hear about this, man. Glad everyone is okay.

This is why I wish Mitsu would just release all of the EVOs/Ralliarts with good all-season tires. Most people who track their cars switch out their rims/tires anyway.
