Wrecked Ralliart

I wrecked my Ralliart on December 22, 2010. I rear ended a honda CRV, the CRV had minimal damage and my car took all of the force. I was coming down a hill and slowing down when I applied the full force of brakes they failed.

Yea I was the only one in the car, thank god Im ok. The car took all the force. The car is at my friends body shop and the insurance adjuster will look at monday and will decide if it will get totaled or repaired. From the looks of it theres no structural damage just cosmetic but the air bags are the most $$$ about the damage.

that is definitely a total, just the body damage alone would cost too much, then you factor in the airbags

and lol did the ASC button just pop out? weird

hope everything works out!

I had a similar accident but i had some front end frame damage(no air bags deployed) total cost 15K (canadian) for repairs. Insurance will usually cover 50% of the value of the car (in good condtion). I got into my accident in mid sept and i still don't have it back yet... i had 3 pages of parts to be replaced. Shipping from japan takes a while i guess.

According to the laws of physics, both cars were subjected to the same amount of force.

Sorry to see though. Since that is a definite total, what are you going to get next?

Thanks guys for your help and your concerns. Im still waiting on the adjuster from the insurance to look at the car. It really sucks not having the ralliart especially we just got hit with a blizzard, I was waiting for some snow.
