I just picked mine up a few weeks ago. So far my mileage is really bad. I cant seem to get the car to stay in manual reset for the MPG on the center display. So I am always starting at 0 when I start the car. But the best I have seen is 13.4mpg. I hope it gets better as the car breaks in?

You can't change it to manual mode. It is designed to switch to automatic mode every time you turn the igntion on, and there is nothing in the manual that suggests that this can be changed. Its kind of silly if you ask me.
a tune makes a tremendous difference on your gas mileage.
I gained 3L per 100kms on the highway with my tune.
So if you cant use the MPG gauge to get a good avg. over time because it always resets, how do you guys get a good idea of how many MPG you are getting? I know on my wifes Impreza if you rest the meter to -0- it starts out at like 20 mpg and over about a week or so of driving it starts to get an avg. of like 23-24 mpg. It doesn't reset until you push the button.
The best way to get an average is the fill up way! Fill up the tank and then reset the trip meter...once your nearly empty see how far youve gotten then divide that by your fuel tank size...plus or minus a couple miles..
or just fill up, reset trip meter, drive for a little....then fill up again and see how many gallons it takes to refill...then divide into how many miles youve driven...
the meter is just good for your average for the day...unless of course your car is shut off for 4 hours (i think)
then it resets

Am I the only one that thinks that the car auto reseting the fuel meter after 4 hours is a little F-ed up? Its just weird. lol
Thanks for the advice, it is very much appreciated.
