ams downpipe

Traded in my 06 mitsu eclipse for an 09 ralliart ,put on a lift to inspect everything ,noticed that it has ams downpipe on,checked the ams web site and noticed this is only available for the evo X ,Can anybody tell me if this downpipe fit the ralliart turbo or could it have had a turbo swap
heres the pic of the ams downpipe just like the one installed on my ralliart.

this downpipe dont fit on a stock ralliart turbo...you must have a evox swap!
I have the same downpipe with evox turbo swap on my car.

post up a picture of your engine bay and we'll be able to see if it is all stock or what...

My Advice would be to get with someone local that has a Tactrix cable so you can look at the tune that is in the ecu currently. In the mean time, stay out of boost!

Running around with an X turbo on an untuned RA would not be a good idea! I would imagine it has some sort of tune on it but there is no telling.

Also need pics of the entire engine bay and the nose of the car, not just the turbo.

I would say it looks fairly stock asside from the turbo and missing heat sheilds. Can't really tell if the IC is stock or not from the pic.

My guess is they put the car back to stock except for the turbo setup because it is just not worth the time and energy to swap back to the RA turbo.

You deff need to get the tune looked at / verified before you start laying into it.

agreed. it all looks suprisingly stock other than the turbo, meaning it was likely set up with other parts and just swapped back, as mentioned.

just to second the already mentioned opinion, with that type of change happening, if the tune wasnt changed to account for the swap back to stock, which it likely wasnt since the guy traded it in, you'll need to get the settings adjusted to prevent any major damage. if we could find out who's car that is, it'd definitely be easier to determine. though i'm not sure how many guys from pr are actually on here other than sharky. maybe he recognizes it or might know depending on which dealer you picked the car up from??

and as far as recommendations, if anything, i'd at least upgrade the intercooler and fix the tune, and you'd be safe running with just that, assuming the turbo swap was done correctly with the proper oil lines, etc.
