I would assume you bought the car used. depending on how well kept the previous owner kept it and miles, i would change your oil/filter, change your tranny fluid/filter, your center and rear diff fluids, in the HOW TO section they're are a few stickies on how to do these items yourself instead of going to the dealership, i would also check the Regional section, im sure there are some TX owners in your area that you can link up with, but this site has been very informative and helpful to me
I bought it used. It was a 2011 with about 12000 miles on it. Looks like the previous owner was an enthusiast or didn't drive that much. I shamelessly spent half of my work day yesterday on here looking in the How To section and learned a lot. I do want to get new springs and lower my RA just a bit. Hopefully I can be more hands-on with this car than my past ones.

I think right now I have low profile Federal Tyres on there. And the wheels are stock 18" powder coated black. What kind of tires would you recommend for an everyday driver?

I will get a picture of it and use it as my profile picture soon, but it's pretty stock looking.

Well, for tire size I'd recommend going with 225/45/18 or 235/40/18 tires (stock tires are 215/45/18) on 18x8 wheels with about 45 offset unless you want to get into rolling and pulling fenders. As far as specific options go: Michelin Pilot Super Sport are hands down the best tires for high performance which still have acceptable ride quality (that's what I'm using right now). They have way harder sidewalls than other similar options and are actually better than most of the older, more expensive high performance options offered by Michelin. Also, they are supposed to last longer than any other tires in the Max Performance Class. Just expect them to have a bit of a trade-off in ride firmness and noise, never use them on snow, and avoid gravel. Otherwise I'd say the Bridgestone RE760s are a really well balanced compromise. They handle very well and have excellent ride quality. Though these are just two examples, there are a ton of other good tires out there.

I got something pretty similar. Mine are: 225/45R-18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H- or V-Speed Rated). Love em!!!

Whats up,
So as you can see I drive a 2014 RalliArt and I don't wanna annoy anyone but I obviously wanna mod my car performance
Got about a grand to spend thinking of getting it to 320hp range, any ideas? And if the price isint reasonable ill buy the parts over time
I don't wanna go too cheap either but keep it around the middle
I was thinking maybe taking parts from Evo Xs?
Also accurately how much hp does the stage1 Cobb accesport provide?
Thanks a lot

That's a very ambitious goal (considering the car is 190-200hp at the wheels stock) and a grand certainly won't get you there. For these numbers you need to do intercooler & piping, BOV, full turbo-back and a turbo swap (Evo X or CBRD Rad Lite), so a few thousand $ for sure.

True, I don't mind starting small anyway, what do you think we'll get me to higher 275hp?
I was think the tune and some piping, or the tune with an UR catback?

You've got a lot of reading to do my friend.....start with the "stickies" in the Ralliart General and Ralliart Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain sections and post specific inquiries in those threads if/when you have questions.....

For sure you have some reading to do. Though a couple of tips - start with turboback (catback alone does nothing) and IC upgrade + a good tune for at least 240 at the wheels (which is a fair bit more than a stock Evo X MR). Then you can go to more advanced stuff if you feel you still need more power.

New RA Owner

Hello, just bought my first Ralliart yesterday, a 2011 with 20,000 miles on it.

I understand from reading around on here the first things I need to do are to get the trans. fluid changed, and the front and rear diff. The dealer I bought it from has just done a new full synth oil change.

Also, I've got an Evo X intercooler with pipes, and am planning on having that, with a boost pill and turboback, installed here in the next few weeks, with the requisite ECU flash to accommodate it all.

Is there anything else anyone can think of that I'm missing off the top of my head? Thanks in advance!

What's up guys! Im in NW burbs of Chicago! Got a 2010 Lancer RA about a couple months ago! Loving the upgrade from an 03 Eclipse GT ! Getting ready to begin upgrading stuff on this bad boy!!! So far just lowered by previous owner, which sucks with potholes and too much snow but well worth it in my opinion!
