SST trans fluid change
SST trans fluid change
I searched but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I swear I remember seeing a very detailed (pictures) post about how to change the ralliarts trans fluid and filter, Does anyone have a link to that post?
Google the following:
how-to change SST transmission fluid
I'd post a link but EvoM isn't friendly with some forum redirects. EvoXforums is the site I've referenced for the "how-to".

I think he was asking about the trans fluid not the oil and filter.
Do you guys feel that changing the trans fluid is something that a normal person can do or is there quite a bit to it. I need to look at that how to myself just want to see if you guys do it or the dealer.

I know mattp_160 wants to know how to change trans fluid and filter.
If you read the original thread posted by Piper747, you will know it is for transmission.
I am not talking about engine oil and filter.
It's our cars' transmission, TC-SST.
Just helping our fellow members.

I took my car to a friend's shop, just in case I ran into a problem. We used BOTH the service manual and the write-up I found on the Evo X Forums. This job is really really easy. You could definitely do this at home.
One thing to note, you'll have to disconnect the battery, and take it out of the car, since the fill plug is under it. The fill hole is a black screw with an allen head on it, which is exactly like the drain plugs/screws.
