im not really to familiar with it, but does it take over the normal engine? no more gas or what does it do exactly? more horsepower as well?

idk much about it either but what i know is that it is a separate tank you setup and pumps meth into you gas, basically creating higher octane. you will gain horsepower im not sure how much or anything.

you dont need meth, with the intro of e85 meth is becoming useless and it can also be dangerous...meth is used as a booster to your fuel ( to raise the octane level) to run aggressive timing, more boost and it helps by reducing detonation or knock in this case...if meth spray fails then your engine fails, and a lot of people have found out the hard way.

Ditto the remarks above. A few years back for big power forced induction motors, meth or alcohol injection was the ticket to achieving higher octane without just running pure race gas. Running injection would allow significantly more boost, and of course could generate higher horse power. I investigated the idea for one of my big block supercharged motors and found out that there were just too many catostrophic failiures to take the risk.

Agreed, E85 seems to be a much safer path to achieve a some what similar result.
