so, what do you guys recommend af ratio for evo8 with green turbo, tbe, IC, 50/50 methanol/water injectio?

i am like 11.1-11.3 from spool up to red line.

is it safe to lean out more? like to 11.5-11.7's?? with methanol/water injection?

 

depends on how much and when you inject.

I inject 50/50 at around 10 psi. afr runs between 12.2 to 12.6. number 8 aquamist.

Just returned from a day at the road course, ran very well. I have one of the turbos that came out before the green but after the rabbit, 20g 5(?) with an ebc running 21 to 20 over the rev range.

if you have logworks I have a log posted on the innovate forum from that day.

 

i do too inject around 8psi, aquamist hfs5 system, but...isn't afr 12.2 little bit too high? my peak boost is 1.9 bar, so it's around 26-27psi.

 

give it a try, I run 25 psi on occasion on the same fuel/timing maps, (sort of misleading cause you hit different cells)

Ive run a number of variations of 12 to 12.5 for about three years as I've switched aquamist systems, ecu(s), and turbos. My timing map doesn't look much different than stock in the wot area other than some improvements.

If you are self flashing go at it in steps if you don't think your car will take it. I think you will be surprised to find a lot of the gospel of afr is tainted by the devil of rich bigots. (sorry)
