New AMS intercooler!
To be fair, I didn't buy the FMIC expecting to see a performance gain from it. I bought it to support the mods I'm doing in the future. If the FMIC provides gains all by itself, bonus!
Thanks man!
How did you change the chrome ring and the lower lip section directly underneath the ring to black? I like it and want to do whatever you did to my front end...Also, how much does the AMS FMIC cost?

I bought the AMS IC & upper pipes combo for $900 after tax. I haven't gotten around to installing it. But I am wonder what others paid for it.
This job can be done, as posted above, without removing the bumper, but I did because I have a heat dish that I used to cure the plasti-dip. Normally I would have brought the heat lamp outside and done the work with the bumper still on, but the weather wasn't nice so I brought the bumper into the basement. I wasn't about to drive my RA into the basement.
I used 4 coats on the ring, and after 6 months of abuse (and a good Canadian winter, which included crossing a snow covered lake at 100km/h), I have only one spot on the ring that needs a touch-up. I used less plasti-dip on the lip, and it needs to be removed and redone (plasti-dip can be peeled off like vinyl).
I bought the AMS FMIC and UICP combo from AMS for $970.
