So i installed my Boost Gauge few weeks ago... but my ralliart at idle is showing -10! (vacuum) is that normal..?
my friend says it should be around -16 to -20 but idk... i rther ask RA ppl... lol
any comments?

it's normal to be at -9 to -10 at idle with no accessories turned on... it's been discussed many times on these forums. A quick search of the 09+ Ralliart Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain train sub section shows one of the most recent discussions we've had...

When you turn on the A/C the throttle by wire system over rides your Accelerator Pedal Position sensor, and opens up the throttle a little to compensate for the extra drag the A/C system puts on the crank...
Also, the vacuum you read on your gauge will be depend on where you're tapping into the system. The idle vacuum level that I stated comes from the car's built-in boost sensor, which takes it's readings off the manifold (vacuum line in the front ... highlighted here ). You'll want to have your boost gauge read your boost/vacuum from the same location as the stock boost sensor. Taking your readings from a different location won't let you know if the car is reading boost or not and could lead to major problems (i.e. your boost gauge reading 18PSI when the boost sensor reads 0 or less)...

the mercury thing i belive.
i asked glowshift maybe if it was PSI.. cuz if it was then the convertion was good -9 = around -18 or so..
but they said Mercury something idk... unless dat dude didnt kno n said mercury just so i can shut up lol
