AMS FMIC SET or UR?

UR has LICP's and is 18" x 12" x 4.5" Core.
AMS no LICP's and is 20" x 12.4" x 3.625" Core.

UR is cheaper with FMIC and UICP's than AMS.

I went with the AMS UICP mostly for the looks & the AMS intercooler. Since they didnt have a LICP that fit I went with the UR. Ive had them on for 2 months now with no problems and I love the choices I made.

AMS is more expensive yet cosmetically appealing. UR is cheaper and just as functional yet don't expect much manufacturer bling.

All depends on how deep your pockets are. I chose UR so I could allocate some of that that extra cash towards other parts.

+1 . That's what I and many others have done. Use the money for other parts.

Depends on what your plans are though. The Evo X FMIC has a hard time keeping up with the stock Evo X turbo, so if you plan on doing this swap in the future, I'd go bigger for sure. Even if you are going to get the CBRD RAD turbo, I'd go bigger than the Evo X FMIC.

However, in a pinch, the Evo X one is priced right and will be a decent upgrade over our stock one.

I would definitely agree with that. That's the problem on here though is that people ask too vague of a question and expect a precise answer. On the other hand though people modify their plans based on how much money they have out into current mods. Most of all though OP, do your research on the parts.

Get your FMIC of choice and just get a OEM Evo X LICP.

Great price and works fine.

OEM Evo X UICP/LICP have no problem making 400hp+ on my personal RA SB.

Its basically about the bling factor more than hp. You can do just fine with the oem Evo X pipes and intercooler but getting pipes & intercooler polished with the company name on it just looks better imo.

If that's the case, then I wish you guys would market it that way on your website. It always irks me and makes me a little uneasy when companies say that their product will fit the Ralliart without any modifications, but then you go to their website and all they're willing to put in writing is "Fits Evo X"....It makes me feel like they're trying to hide something and that it's not REALLY going to be a direct bolt-on product..Sorry, but show the Ralliart community a little "love", and then we'll talk.
