Unhappy RPM Fluctuations When Cruise control is Active

Hey guys
Something is strange about my car just noticed it starting to do this. If I have my cat on cruise say I'm doing 50mph set the cruise control. RPMs would be around 2 the needle starts to bounce ever so slightly up and down. And no this is not on an incline it's on flat ground. Just wondering if it's because the new bov I put on or something. Any adivce? I havnt changed my spark plugs yet either they have 60,000 on them. Heres a video I know it's crappy took it with my iPhone. Thanks for the help.

Change the BOV back to stock and see since that is the easiest way to test. As far as the plugs mine only lasted to 30k and I had to change then since one of the ceramic pieces was sliding up and down the electrode so I will change mine again at 60k which will be in the next couple months.

I changed your thread title to better match the situation you are describing... this is NOT an idle condition.

I'm going to take a guess that the timing is changing +/- degree (totally normal). Cruise control sets the speed not the RPM. So RPM fluctuating <100 RPM is totally normal.

Log it and I'm fairly certain you will see timing moving a degree or two, it's almost never constant (except fully warmed-up in 70* weather while idling, and even then only for 10 seconds at a time at the most).

Happens for more than ten seconds the whole time I'm driving I see it. Non stop. I'm starting to think my Clutches are going bad or I need to change my tranny fluid.
