my friend has a 09ra he is getting the cobb would we be able to get maps for my 2011 on the same 1? i know this is dumb ? but i am just wondering

 

Yes you can I believe, however I dont think you can install one cobb on multiple vehicles.

Orginally I was goin to get cobb cause theres no tuner near me. But I discovered the GST Basemap and its a god send. I ran 14.6 stock and with the GST with boost pill I run 13.5 1/4 mile.

There is a guy on here with cobb stage 2 and he ran like 13.7(not sure how he launched) but for the money you cant go wrong with the GST Basemap ( its free you only have to get a Laptop and Tactrix 2.0 cable) Tactrix is like 190 on the web.

Unfortunately when a Cobb AP is used its married to one vehicle. but it is definitely worth the investment.

 

thanks its just hard bec i dont work i was in a head on crash last yr n i dont have money to buy 1 or i would the cobb port comes with the traxxis cable right? ill use that n the gst base map

 

I believe the Cobb AP has a proprietary cable, I know in order to use Access tuner race for Cobb the AP has to be in the middle, so I don't think the Cable will work because the RA's are usually receiving the 2.0 version of the AP which requires the cable from the computer to the AP then to the Car via the V2B OBDII Cable to interface.

Why, find a local tuner, go there with your laptop and the GST basemap, borrow their Tactrix cable for 10 minutes.

Does the Tactrix cable and available software allow you to switch maps as quickly as an AP assuming you have a laptop?

 

Sheeet, ya. I dunno man, u could still save some coin doing the tactrix.

Almost as fast, only difference is booting up the laptop.

 

yeah i have a laptop lol im just finding out what would work i want him to get the cable lol bec he has the evox swap turbo n i got the stock turbo but we both have everything else the same just diff companys he went with all ams i got cp-e tbe n ams fmic with piping n i beat him lol his tune sucks
