Ralliart Rear Bumper

Hey guys, tonight at work a customer drove his semi truck into the employee parking lot and hit my car. Long story short, one of the parts i need is a new rear bumper. This will not be going through insurance as the customer has an account with the company i work for, and our bodyshop is doing all the work. All i have to do is order the parts. My question is if anybody has had an extreme dimensions bumper installed on their car, particularly this one http://www.extremedimensions.com/13144.html. I know it shows the X but it is listed for 08-11 Lancer (not evo) look alike bumper, unless these guys don't know the difference between the X and other lancers. I want to know if the fitment is descent and if they had any problems with the company. I have heard alot of stories about aftermarket body pieces not fitting well at all. Any input from anyone is appreciated Thanks.

I have heard mixed reviews but mostly not good. Apparently the parts do not come pre drilled so you have to make your own mounting points. Do a search of the forums here and it should help your decision making.

I'd be concerned if that bumper would fit properly without the fender addons. From the looks of the picture, it's part of a wide-body kit for the lancer body.

Yes check out the WW picture thread in the show and shine. I believe it was Mangok. He got a very very very nice rear bumper from VIS http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/...ar-Bumper.html

thats the link...check out his pics, it looks really nice and new fenders are not required I believe

I have confirmed that the bumper from xtreme dimensions is a EVO X look a like bumper, not for the widebody but designed for a regular lancer. VIS Racing makes nice ones too and descently priced, thanks for that.

Are you sure about that? If you look at the full x conversion wide body kit and the rear bumper from the link, they are the same product. The pictures below show rear fender flares that look necessary for fitment

You may want to confirm with them before buying. They are a vendor on here, their page is:

Regardless, whatever you decide - PICTURES!!!

Unless you want the hassle of body shops and what nots, buy OEM.

I am not worried about the body shops as the guy who hit me is paying for everything. And i have confirmed via e-mail and phone that the bumper is for a REGULAR lancer. Not wide body, but same picture is used. Either way, i am going with VIS. Once installed i will throw up my pictures
