Highest Reported mileage on (08+) ralliart
#123
2009 Ralliart currently 65,000 miles.
The tranny failed at 60,215 miles due to 3rd gear going bad, got new tranny under warranty. Other than the tranny failing, the car runs great now.

I just bought my 09 Ralliart in 2014...it had 79,XXX on it so I thought it was a good deal...new to fast cars....and now its at a WHOPPING 147,XXX and im currently experiencing the car skipping all the even gears and when it gets to 5th it just stays there...It has done it in the past but I normally just turn off and restart the car and its fine...but now it does it everytime I drive...kinda sucks cause I don't even know whats wrong with it

147,000km stock turbo still and SST still. Only issues had so far has been oil pump failure and pcv valve failure. I service my oil every 4,000km, and SST every 20,000km.

UPDATE:
I'm at 120,000 miles. This has been the most f**king reliable car I've ever had *knocks on wood* I better not jinx this by making this update.
So what have I done with it?
Every 5000 miles, 5 quarts of 5w-30 mobil 1, quake state ultimate, pennzoil platnium, or castrol edge, whichever is on sale.
Every 15000 miles, dump a large 20 ounce Techron injector cleaner into the tank, new Fram ULTRA oil filter.
Every 30k miles, new in cabin and engine air filter.
Changed the TC-SST fluid and filter at 15k miles and again at 60k miles. Haven't touched it since.
Changed coolant at 30k miles.
Changed power steering fluid at 60k miles.
Changed spark plugs at 60k miles.
Brake pads and rotors replaced at 40k miles and again at 80k miles.
ACD pump failed at 75000 miles (i think) and had it replaced.
Changed battery at 3 years and 50k miles in.
AM on the radio went out at 70k miles. Everything else works..
Everything is stock. Only have mud flaps on it.
Aside from that, I haven't serviced anything else on the car, period. Have I skipped a lot of maintenance? Probably.
My driving style? I take the car into red line at least 3-4 times every single time i drive it. On the highway, I cruise at 3500-4000 rpm for long distances (3-500 miles at a time) once or twice a month. Driving through NYC a lot. Hit enough large potholes at high speed that I've destroyed 1 driver side front tire and 2 passenger side front tires. Curbed the rear passenger tire hard enough during a misjudged corner that it threw the car into the air. Curbed the driver side and destroyed a tire. Stock rims are scuffed up and banged up but still fine. Never had an alignment, still ran dead straight up until about 2 months ago. Now very slightly to the right, very slight. I switch to winter 17" rims and tires during the winter.
The oil pan has a small rust spot. Very small leak. Heat shield on the cat rusted off, made a new one out of stainless plate. Heat shield on muffler came loose, epoxied it back on. Air conditioner still runs ice cold, never had to recharge it.
TPMS still works 50/50, surprised the batteries in the sensor are still alive after 120k miles and 7 years.
The interior rattles. I know when to shift by the sound. Upper dash = 1500 rpm, lower dash = 2000 rpm, glove box = 2500 rpm, center console = 3000 rpm, the cowling above the steering wheel =3500 rpm.
The suspension's had it. Still works but bushings are getting stiff. There's a slight clunk in the steering going over rough road. Braking hard and cornering produces a weird knocking/vibration in the steering. Going straight and braking hard, nothing. Checked all linkages in the steering and suspension and as far as I could tell everything's tight.
Started running her on 89 octane (I have money, just don't like wasting it). Haven't seen any detrimental effects even with the way I drive. Gas mileage roughly the same.
Aside from the usual small pock marks on the hood (which is aluminum, so no rust!), the headlights are still very clear, not foggy at all. Replaced the windshield at 50k miles after a harsh winter cracked it. Small scuff on the rear bumper when wife backed it into the front gate. And a bunch of small dents on roof and passenger side a-pillar from when a tree fell on it during a storm. Still on original light bulbs all around. Best car ever!

09 Ralliart, I bought off a friend. He did all the regular maintenance at stealership. It has 170,000kms and that'd be just over 100,000 miles. There wasn't much major work done to car. Just regular maintenance and flushes, changing out old part but nothing major. The car runs smooth and fast. Love this beast!
