odd grinding/noise when slowing down

hey guys i have a 2011 ralliart. my problem is, when i step on the break i feel this slight grind and hear the noise. it sounds like its coming from right around the front axle. i thought something could be touching the breaks but its more in the center of the car. i looked underneath but didnt really see anything. i dont have a lift or jack stands unfortunately .

it really feels like a stick or something is jammed but i can't tell. also, it started happening the day after i had to drive through a pile of leaves (it was to park, i wasnt being a d*****bag lol).

anyone have any ideas or have something similar happen before? any help is appreciated, thanks guys

I would suggest taking the wheels off and checking the brakes/dust covers. I would bet something is jammed in there causing the grind and noise
